Key Features



Collets all Smoke Density
Monitor (SDM) readings in one interface –could be readings
from engines, auxiliary, turbines, incinerators and/ or boilers.

Optional: Collect NOx and
O2 readings in same interface.

  • Optional: Alarm output
    to vessel alarm system

Logs SDM readings to database for historical documentation/ review –will default log data every 15 second and keep them for 700 days.

  • Optional:
    GPS solution for logging
    of latitude and longitude of vessel position when values are read.

Pro Active Management of all
exhaust systems –using
trending graphs you will be able to see how the SDM readings relate to each other over a period of time.
This way being able to spot a
tendency of increased smoke
build up, possibly caused by
incorrectly adjusted combustion
